VAXJO, Sweden (Aug. 21) — Trelleborg Automotive plans to invest $10.2 million in a new technical center in Northville Township, near Livonia in the western suburbs of Detroit, according to Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm.
Granholm said the tech center, operated by the Trelleborg Rubore division of Trelleborg Automotive, will be used for advanced engineering and product development activities and will employ 32.
Trelleborg Automotive´s North American headquarters is in South Haven, Mich., and the Trelleborg A.B. business has a factory in Sandusky, Mich. Trelleborg Rubore has a sales office in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Granholm is in Sweden on an investment mission.
