TOOELE, Utah (July 23) — Michelin North America Inc. has launched two BFGoodrich products, an ultra-high-performance passenger tire and an aggressive light truck tire.
The tires are in keeping with the brand´s "extreme capability" image, company officials said at a press briefing in Tooele.
The g-Force Super Sport A/S all-season tire, which Michelin described as the most technically advanced BFGoodrich product to date, features three different compounds and design zones in the tread-one for dry, one for wet and one for snow handling.
The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 the firm introduced is aimed at serious off-road drivers. The tire features an aggressive tread inspired by the BFGoodrich Krawler T/A and has a beefed-up sidewall strength that is 33 percent stronger than the previous Mud-Terrain T/A KM tire, the company said.
