PARIS (June 26) — Michelin has published the third edition of the Michelin Performance and Responsibility report of tire industry challenges, including some new features.
The report provides a detailed account of road mobility and industry challenges accompanied by Michelin´s 2005 and 2006 performance in carrying out the previous development approach.
It was started in 2002 and is based on five key corporate values: respect for customers, respect for people, respect for shareholders, respect for the environment and respect for facts. A complete version is published every two years along with summary updates of key indicator changes in alternate years.
A special section of the report is devoted to Michelin Fleet Solutions, an integrated tire management service for large European and North American trucking companies that invoices customers on the number of miles/kilometers actually driven.
