S&E Specialty Polymers develops new generation of Zero Halogen compounds
S&E Specialty Polymers has developed a new generation of thermoplastic olefin-based Zero Halogen compounds under its GTPO-9100 series. The compounds offer a temperature rating of 90°C-105°C and can be produced in a wide durometer range, the company said. Applications include communication and fiber optic cables. S&E said it also is marketing the FS-1000 Plenum compound, which is RoHS compliant and suitable for PVC/PVC applications and applications requiring higher electrical categories in wire and cable.
