CHICAGO (April 16) — CPH Holding Corp. changed its name to HallStar Co. to emphasize a shared brand identity. The firm is parent to a group of companies which provide specialty chemical solutions, including those for the rubber industry.
In the mid-80s, the then C.P. Hall Co. was a long-standing distributor to the rubber industry. CPH Holding Corp. acquired RTD HallStar in 2001.
Now the group of companies provides esters, polymer additives and personal care ingredients as part of the innovations for plasticizers, softeners for agriculture and magnesium-base compounds for industrial applications, the firm said.
