CHICAGO (Feb. 9) — Bridgestone Americas Holding Inc. will again be the presenting partner for the national tour of the non-profit organization Driver´s Edge through 2009.
This year will mark the fifth straight year the firm has sponsored the program, which teaches teens how to drive safely. The program is taught by professional race car drivers and performance driving instructors. Seventeen U.S. cities are on this year´s schedule, beginning April 14 in San Diego.
The sessions are taught twice a day and are free of charge. Each session teaches about 75 to 100 students, ages 15 to 21.
