MALDEN, Mass. (Jan. 12) — GPX International Tire Corp. has named Randy Gaetz vice president of U.S. aftermarket sales.
Previously, Gaetz worked for Group Michelin for 21 years, where he held several senior positions, including vice president of sales for the North American earthmover business unit, director of North American national accounts and sales force manager for the U.S. truck tire replacement group. Most recently Gaetz served as vice president of sales and marketing for the commercial division of Michelin´s wholly owned subsidiary, TCI L.L.C.
Robert Sherkin, chairman and CEO of GPX, said Gaetz will be working with GPX´s branches responsible for sales of Galaxy, Primex, Dynamo, Radion and Aeolus brands. Initially, Gaetz also will be involved with the strategy formulation of GPX´s solid tire business unit.
Sherkin said this is a key growth area for GPX as the firm's new solid tire factory in China nears completion.
