CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Sept. 19) — Continental Tire North America, Inc. has realigned key areas of its passenger/light truck replacement sales and marketing group.
Effective immediately, Jeremy Lewin has been named manager, product planning and brand development, and Paul Tecci has been tapped as manager of programs, promotions and events. Both will report to Marketing Director Travis Roffler.
Lewin will be responsible for the design and implementation of the passenger and light truck replacement group's long-term product planning strategy for North America. He has worked for CTNA for five years and most recently served as manager of original equipment replacement sales.
Reporting to him will be Joe Maher, who was named product planning manager of passenger/ performance lines and Tony Talbert, who has assumed duties as product planning manager of light truck and winter tire lines.
Tecci will be responsible for the complete development, design and implementation of programs, promotions and events across brands for Conti Tire North America. He brings more than six years of experience to his new role, most recently serving as strategic marketing manager for CTNA.
Reporting to him will be Bruce Buckles, who will be in charge of programs and promotions, and Catrin Meyer, who will be responsible for event planning.
On the communications front, Brittany Scott will be in charge of e-marketing and advertising design. Nakia Medlin will handle dealer training and point-of-sale materials.
The company said its new marketing initiatives and product launches are based on a three-year plan to increase product offerings and improve market coverage in the light truck and high-performance tire market segments. During this time the firm said it will introduce more than 500 products, including new product lines and extensions of current lines for both the Continental and General tire brands.
