ATLANTA (Aug. 22) — J.M. Huber Corp.´s Huber Engineered Materials unit said it will raise prices for its North American industrial specialties kaolin clay portfolio effective Oct. 1, or as current contracts allow.
The firm said many of the prices will increase "significantly," depending on the product grade, volume and form. It did not, however, reveal exactly how much prices will climb.
Huber said the hikes are needed to offset rising raw materials, energy, transportation and other costs.
