HOUSTON (Aug. 10)—The International Rubber Study Group and the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers have release their first combined forecast of natural and synthetic rubber consumption.
"Demand for Natural Rubber (NR) and various forms of Synthetic Rubber (SR)" provides forecasts of rubber use in consuming regions during a five-year period, the groups said.
The study gives predictions on economic developments in nine key regions in the 2006-2010, as well as detailed vehicle and tire production trends. The report also forecasts tire and non-tire, NR and SR consumption, as gives various other short- and long-term forecasts, the groups said. Detailed information on specific rubbers is included, too.
