HEERLEN, Netherlands (Aug. 2) — DSM N.V. will not face antitrust charges in Europe relating to the EPDM sector after the European Commission closed its investigation into alleged violations of the laws.
The verdict by the EC investigation, which started in December 2002, follows a similar decision by the U.S. Justice Department in July.
EPDM, a synthetic rubber, is a major product of DSM Elastomers, which markets the material under the trade name Keltan.
