LYNNFIELD, Mass.-GreenMan Technologies Inc. appointed Lyle E. Jensen as president and CEO, succeeding Robert H. Davis, who resigned to pursue other interests.
Jensen will continue as a member of the company´s board of directors, but Nicholas DeBenedictis, an independent director, will replace him on the audit and compensation committees.
Jensen plans to oversee a financial restructuring of the scrap tire recycler and reduce corporate overhead, which includes relocating the headquarters to the Midwest during the next several months. GreenMan runs facilities in Savage, Minn.; Des Moines, Iowa; and Azusa, Calif.
Jensen previously was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Auto Life Acquisition Corp. and prior to that, held CEO, president and general manager posts at several public and private companies.
