LONDON (June 14) — Mavalle S.A. has joined the International Rubber Study Group´s Panel of Associates, the London-based organization announced.
Mavalle, incorporated in 1986, is part of the Pajonales Organization, an agricultural and agro-industrial entrepreneurial conglomerate co-owned by Corporación Financiera del Valle S.A., Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia and the Ingenio Azucarero Providencia S.A.
Mavalle is focused on cultivating, producing and selling natural rubber in Colombia, as well as providing vegetation materials for sowing and technical consulting for the founding of new agricultural and agro-industrial projects related to natural rubber in the country.
The company´s plans include enlarging its natural rubber growing area to 3,000 hectares from its current 450 hectares in Colombia.
