CLEVELAND (May 18) — Parker Hannifin Corp. has acquired Resistoflex Aerospace, a division of Crane Co. active in fluid connectivity and conveyance products for the aerospace industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Jacksonville, Fla., Resistoflex Aerospace is credited with inventing PTFE extruded hose and also produces tubes and swaged fittings, including hydraulic beam seal fittings for aircraft and engine applications, and Nutlok, a separable fluid connector requiring no lockwire. It was founded in 1936 and has 84 employees; sales last year were $16 million.
Resistoflex Aerospace will be integrated into Parker Aerospace´s Stratoflex Products Division.
