RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.—Steven L. Drake has joined Kumho Tire U.S.A. as director of operations for the firm´s original equipment sales office in Troy, Mich.
Drake comes to the U.S. arm of South Korea´s Kumho Tire Inc. from Continental Tire North America Inc.´s OE business unit, where he was account manager for General Motors Corp. accounts. He also had been a senior development engineer with Continental, and before that was a tire development engineer and product evaluation engineer with Goodyear-Dunlop Tire North America in Huntsville, Ala.
Kumho Tire U.S.A. opened the OE office in the Detroit suburb on Feb. 20.
