FULLERTON, Calif. (Dec. 2)—Yokohama Tire Corp. will raise prices by 3 percent on all light truck commercial and medium radial truck tires, effective Feb. 1.
The Fullerton-based tire maker also will raise prices across the board on its off-the-road tires by 3-6 percent. Additional adjustments may be made, and dealers will receive detailed pricing, the tire maker said.
The firm cited the continued rising costs of petroleum-derived materials, energy, freight and social costs as reasons for the increase.
