WORCESTER, Mass. (Aug. 2)—Jefferson Rubber Works Inc., a manufacturer of high-precision molded rubber goods, has won a U.S. Army contract to produce nosecup disk valves for various face mask respirators.
The company said it expected to make more than 1 million nosecup disk valves under the contract, at a value of $793,485.
Founded in 1975, Worcester-based Jefferson Rubber Works makes a wide variety of molded parts for large-volume customers in the auto, medical, construction, appliance and other industries, and offers free prototyping to potential customers.
