WRCA moves into bead wire business
Wire Rope Corp. of America Inc. has bought Mexican wire producer Aceros Camesa S.A. de C.V., whose production capabilities include tire bead wire at a plant in Cuautitlan, Mexico.

Camesa sells bead wire in Mexico only, and WRCA did not comment specifically on its plans for this business, other than it intends to continue selling the product.
The deal-which includes Aceros Camesa's U.S. unit, Camesa Inc., and all other subsidiaries and affiliated companies-makes WRCA the largest wire rope manufacturer in the western hemisphere, the firm said.
