SHANGHAI, China—Goodyear has appointed Maurice Tan vice president of marketing for its Asia/Pacific region.
Headquartered in Shanghai, Tan is in charge of building Goodyear brand awareness in the area, developing the firm's retail network and pushing market share gains via product and service introductions.
Tan previously worked at Nokia as vice president of marketing for its Global Entry Business Line.
Before that he was the greater China marketing director for PepsiCo Beverage International.
He also has worked as national sales manager for central China at Mars Inc., and he began his career at McDonalds, helping start the firm's first restaurant in Beijing.
