MARIETTA, Ga. (Feb. 14)—Columbian Chemicals Co. has named Rikki Lamba vice president of carbon black technology. In this role, Lamba will oversee global laboratory services, new product development and technical services.
"With his significant experience in both carbon black technology and marketing, Rikki is uniquely qualified for this position," said James Howard, senior vice president of sales, marketing and carbon black technology. "This experience will prove extremely beneficial as we focus our technical efforts on developing new, higher value-added products that our customers need and on continuing to demonstrate our expertise in carbon black technology through our worldwide technical centers."
Lamba joined Columbian in November 1997 as a product scientist and was promoted to director of global marketing/tire in November 2000.
