MIDLAND, Mich. (Feb. 7)—Rising raw material and product support costs have prompted Dow Chemical Co. to raise prices March 1 on select polyurethane elastomer and thermoplastic polyurethane resin lines.
The 2363 series of Pellethane PU elastomers will increase 10 percent in all regions while all grades of Isoplast and Prevail engineering TPU resins will rise 10 percent in North America. The company said the price increases will allow it to restore margins to acceptable levels and ensure it can meet market needs in the long term.
