CANTON, Mass. (Jan. 12)—The Securities and Exchange Commission has granted Plymouth Rubber Co.'s application to withdraw the listing of its Class A and Class B common stock on the American Stock Exchange.
The order was effective Jan. 7.
Plymouth Rubber, a manufacturer of rubber and plastic products, is looking into deregistering either or both classes of stock under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the rules and regulations of the SEC, the company said. If that should happen, Plymouth Rubber's obligation to file reports under Section 13 of the Exchange Act with the SEC could be terminated, it said.
