COLUMBUS, Ohio (Sept. 9)—The Rubber Manufacturers Association has scheduled the Fall Meeting of its General Products Group for Oct. 4 in Columbus, in conjunction with the American Chemical Society Rubber Division Mini-Expo in Columbus that same week.
Sen. Mike DeWine, R-Ohio, will be keynote speaker, discussing the upcoming presidential election and political issues relevant to manufacturers that will be considered in the next Congress. Also, Cleveland State University economics professor Edward W. Hill will speak on the impact of federal deficits, regulatory costs and health care expenses on manufacturers.
