AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (Sept. 7)—Solvay Engineered Polymers Inc. will increase prices Oct. 1 for its lines of thermoplastic polyolefin materials.
Prices will be raised by 5 cents per pound for truckload-volume purchases and by 7 cents per pound for less-than-truckload orders, the company said. The increases apply to all of the firm's TPO lines marketed under the brand names Dexflex, Sequel, Dexpro and Indure. The new price levels don't apply to the NexPrene or Respond families of vulcanized thermoplastic elastomers, Solvay Engineered Polymers said.
