MEDICINE HAT, Alberta—Kenneth R. Tate has become president and chief operating officer of Cancarb Ltd., replacing Robert D. Hale, who has returned to duties with parent company TransCanada Pipelines Ltd.
Tate previously was director of energy trading, Western Canada, for the company. Before that he worked in corporate finance for the thermal black producer.
Hale will work on various projects for TransCanada until he retires in 2005. He spent nearly 14 years as president and chief operating officer at Cancarb.
