LA MIRADA, Calif. (July 2)—Bayer Polymers L.L.C. has named E.T. Horn Co. its 2003 Distributor of the Year, an award that acknowledges distributor performance based on factors such as communication with Bayer, total sales force activity, yearly sales growth and the number of new accounts.
La Mirada-based Horn has received the distributor award several times in recent years, Bayer said. It services customers in 11 Western states from four distribution centers.
For Bayer Polymers, Horn handles primarily the polyurethane product line along with Bayer's Baypren polychloroprene, according to Horn's Web site.
