MIDLAND, Mich. (May 25)—Dow Corning Corp. will raise prices June 15 on select materials for the engineered elastomers industry by 5 to 7 percent in the Americas.
Rising costs of raw materials and energy for the production of silicone materials spurred the price hike, the company said. Affected product lines include dimethyl silicone rubber gum, base, custom compounds, additives and modifiers.
