LYNNHAVEN, Mass. (May 18)—Tire recycler GreenMan Technologies Inc.'s worst days are behind it, despite a net loss in its second fiscal quarter of nearly $1.3 million, according to GreenMan President and CEO Bob Davis.
The imminent reopening of its Georgia waste wire processing operations, plans to make its Tennessee facility a fully operational crumb rubber operation by 2005, and various new operating economies should reverse the trend of the company's six straight unprofitable quarters, Davis said during a May 18 teleconference to discuss GreenMan's second-quarter results.
