WASHINGTON (May 3)—Ann Wilson, senior vice president of government affairs for the Rubber Manufacturers Association, is leaving the RMA to become vice president of government affairs for the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association.
Her new job at MEMA starts June 1, six years to the day after she joined the RMA. "This is clearly a step up for Ann, with a bigger budget and bigger responsibility," said RMA President Donald B. Shea. "She´s given us the very best, and that's exactly what we wish her."
The association has begun the search for Wilson´s successor, and RMA staff will handle her duties until until that is accomplished. The search hasn´t yet been narrowed to whether the replacement will come from within or outside the RMA, Shea said.
