A keynote address about congressional efforts to restore manufacturing jobs in the U.S. will be a highlight of the International Silicone Conference, May 25-26 in Cleveland.
Bradley Knox, oversight counsel for Congressman Don Manzullo (R-Ill.), will give the keynote speech at the Cleveland Renaissance Hotel.
Highly involved in the subject of small businesses and U.S. manufacturing jobs, Knox will explore the challenges of American manufacturing and the policies aimed at making U.S. companies more competitive in the global marketplace.
Authors from a variety of silicone manufacturers and suppliers will give presentations at the conference, including Hefner Elastomere-Technik GmbH, Wacker Chemical Corp., Rhodia Inc., Elmet Elastomere Produktions, Laur Silicones Inc., GE Silicones, Battenfeld GmbH, Degussa A.G. and SilikoneEurope S.R.L.
