ST. PAUL, Minn. (March 26)—H.B. Fuller Co.´s net income rose 42.1 percent to $4.6 million, but only because special items related to a restructuring initiative reduced prior-year earnings by nearly $3.1 million. Sales climbed 8.1 percent to $318.6 million for the quarter ended Feb. 28. Revenue for the global adhesives business climbed 9.8 percent, with volume up 4.5 percent, prices down 1.2 percent and currency fluctuations having a positive impact of 6.5 percent.
