PLYMOUTH, Mich.—George W. Dettloff is the new president of SKF A.B.´s North American Automotive Division.
In his new post, Dettloff is responsible for the original equipment and aftermarket operations of the division, which makes seals and bearings. He will be in charge of financial, sales, marketing, engineering and manufacturing.
Dettloff also is president of Chicago Rawhide Americas, based in Elgin, Ill. He will relocate to the SKF North American Technical Center in Plymouth.
Before joining Chicago Rawhide in 2000, Dettloff was president of Textron Fastening Systems. He also has held senior management positions at Eaton Corp. and General Motors Corp.
