Davis-Standard Corp.´s new rubber co-extruder combines mobility and a small footprint with processing consistency and performance. Ideal for silicone and most synthetic rubber applications, the unit is adjustable to heights of 36 to 77 inches and built on a portable caster base pre-wired and plumbed for easy installation, the Crompton Corp. division said. A pneumatically controlled torque sensor regulates the machine´s feed rate, speeding up or slowing down based on the feedstrip thickness and width to maintain a constant reserve in the feedsection, it said.
