MIDLAND, Mich. (Dec. 11)—Dow Corning Corp. has completed a two-year program to increase its organosilane coupling agents capacity by more than 40 percent. The plan, which involved a $6 million investment in improved manufacturing process, was in response to increased market demand, the group said.
"The improvements will provide a dependable supply of high-quality silanes around the world," said Ken Kaufman, global product line manager, silanes and silica. "Customers now have a reliable source whether they´re looking for lower volatility silane solutions, higher purity, or improved consistency of their silanes."
