GREENVILLE, S.C. (Dec. 1)—Michelin Americas Truck Tires will increase prices by an overall average of 5 percent on its Michelin and BFGoodrich brand replacement commercial truck tires sold in the U.S. The hikes will be effective Jan. 1 for the firm's directly billed North American fleet accounts and Feb. 1 for the replacement dealer network. The tire maker cited rising raw material costs as the reason for the price boost.
