AKRON—Goodyear has named five senior executives to new roles.
The company appointed Lawrence D. Mason president of consumer tires in its North American Tire division; Chris W. Clark senior vice president of global sourcing; Brent Copeland president and chief operating officer of Wingfoot Commercial Systems; Eduardo A. Fortunato president of the Latin American tire business; and Rick Navarro vice president of business development.
Mason joined the company from Huhtamaki-Americas, where he was president of North American food service and retail consumer products. Before that he spent 19 years with Proctor & Gamble Co. in sales and brand management, including director of the Wal-Mart/USA customer team.
Clark previously was president of Goodyear´s Latin America region. Copeland most recently was vice president of sales and marketing at Wingfoot. He has spent his 31-year career at Goodyear.
A 28-year Goodyear veteran, Fortunato has been president and managing director of Goodyear Brazil since 2000. Navarro joins Goodyear from Solectron Corp., where he was senior vice president of corporate development.
