CARY, N.C. (Nov. 6)—Lord Corp. said it has been selected to supply the auxiliary power unit isolation system for Lockheed Martin Corp.'s C-5 aircraft. The company did not release the value or length of the contract. Lord will supply left-hand and right-hand isolation systems that will share a common elastomeric inner member. The isolators and bonded isolator pairs will be made from silicone to meet a 30,000 flight-hour life requirement, Lord said.
