LAS VEGAS (Nov. 6)—Tenneco Automotive Inc. has taken action against four foreign companies exhibiting at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo taking place the week Nov. 3. The four companies—two from Taiwan, one from South Korea and one from India—were forced to remove rubber-to-metal bushings from their booths at the show. The counterfeit products displayed bore Tenneco Automotive's Clevite Elastomers and Harris brand names, as well as Tenneco part number and Rubber Manufacturers Association codes, Tenneco said. A spokesman for the supplier said Tenneco was successful in ceasing the counterfeit products.
