APEX, N.C. (Oct. 31)—Medical product maker Polyzen Inc. has moved into a new headquarters and manufacturing facility in Apex, doubling its space and readying itself for future growth in the process. The 12-year-old firm announced Oct. 16 it has moved into a new, purpose-built 30,000-sq.-ft. facility, which includes a 6,000-sq.-ft. Class 10,000 clean room and production area. The company-owned, 4.75-acre site replaces the leased plant it occupied in nearby Cary, N.C., a spokesman said. The move was necessary to support Polyzen's increased business and provide larger clean room production capacity, said company President Tilak M. Shah. Polyzen experienced solid 15- to 20-percent growth last year, he said.
