AKRON (Oct. 27)—The ACS Rubber Division reported it had 6,400 registrants for its Oct. 14-17 technical meeting and exhibition in Cleveland. The division said it had participants from throughout the world, its technical meetings were well-attended and its educational workshops had twice the usual number of students. The organization's last major meeting and expo, held in October 2001 in Cleveland, drew 7,254 participants, the division said at the time.
