Reichhold Inc. said its new family of urethane hybrid resins for composites offers good toughness and impact resistance compared with traditional polyester resins while maintaining structural grade strength and stiffness. The first grade, Dion Xtreme 31040, targets pultrusion uses with its good short-beam shear properties, the firm said. Applications include waterfront structures, power transmission apparatus, door panels, truck and bus panels and profiles. For more information, e-mail [email protected]
