FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (Oct. 6)—GenCorp Inc., the parent company of GDX Automotive, said Michael Bryant has resigned from his positions as president of the sealing unit and a vice president of the corporation. In a written release, GenCorp said Bryant will remain with the company "on special assignment." The also said it has eliminated an unspecified number of automotive staff positions. Dave Bender, who recently became executive vice president of GDX, will continue to be responsible for GDX operations, reporting directly to Terry Hall, GenCorp CEO and president.
