CLEVELAND (Oct. 2)—Bill Canis, executive director of the National Association of Manufacturers' Manufacturing Institute, will be the keynote speaker at the Rubber Manufacturers Association's General Products Group meeting Oct. 13 in Cleveland. Canis' topic will be the effect of U.S. trade policy on the competitiveness of domestic manufacturers. Also, Pan Atlantic President Patrick Murphy will present the results of the GPG 2003 Benchmarking Study, and Auggie Gatt, associate professor in the rubber engineering program at Ferris State University, will discuss efforts to recruit students into the program.
