FRANKFURT, Germany (Sept. 22)—Goodyear will spend $15 million this year to expand the TC Debica S.A. tire plant in Debica, Poland. The investment is intended primarily to increase truck tire output at the site, a Goodyear spokesman said at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show. The facility currently has a daily production capacity of 34,000 units, and makes passenger, truck and bus, light truck, agricultural and industrial bias and radial tires. Goodyear has a 60-percent stake in the business, and no intention to divest any of that interest, the official said.
