CLEVELAND—Parker Hannifin Corp. plans to promote Nickolas Vande Steeg and John Myslenski in preparation for the scheduled retirement of Executive Vice President Dennis Sullivan.
Vande Steeg, currently senior vice president, will become executive vice president and chief operating officer on Oct. 1, in charge of the firm´s industrial groups. He has been with Parker Hannifin since 1971, and previously was president of the Seal Group.
Myslenski, also a senior vice president, will become executive vice president of sales, marketing and operations support. He will oversee European activities, worldwide sales and marketing, logistics, information technology and operational support functions. His 30-year career with Parker Hannifin includes a stint as president of the Fluid Connectors Group.
Sullivan is retiring at the end of the year after a 43-year career with Parker Hannifin.
