The Long Range Laser Twin Sensor from LMI Technologies (USA) Inc. tracks object displacements or running profiles at speeds up to 200 kHz. The unit´s laser triangulation sensor compensates for differences in the object´s color and surface and tracks the smallest pits, surface textures and sharp increases in object height, the LMI Technologies Inc. division said. Applications include measuring rubber gear belt profiles, spherical surfaces, tape drive read head measurement and wire bonding tool check.
