TOLEDO, Ohio (Sept. 11)—Joseph Magliochetti, CEO and chairman of Dana Corp., is hospitalized with pancreatitis following the removal of a gallstone. Dana did not say how long Magliochetti will be recovering but said Bill Carroll, president of the Automotive Systems Group, will assume the role of acting chief operating officer of the company until Magliochetti returns. Dana has been fending off a takeover by competitor Arvin-Meritor Inc. since June.
