AKRON—Goodyear has made changes in the original equipment business management of its North American Tire Division that affects five employees.
Byron Meyer has become director of OE consumer sales and marketing; David Bair now is marketing manager of OE consumer tires; and Jeff Row is the new global account manager for the General Motors Corp. business.
Harold "Skip" Waser, previously director of OE consumer sales and marketing for the division, has retired after 37 years with the company. James "J.J." Martell, who held the GM global account manager post, also retired after 35 years with the firm.
Meyer previously was marketing manager for OE consumer tires. Bair most recently was technical team leader for the DaimlerChrysler A.G. account. Row´s last job was marketing manager for OE commercial tires for the division.
