WILLIS, Texas (Aug. 21)—CAM Specialty Products Inc. has constructed a facility designed specifically for the company's castable urethane manufacturing business and machine shop. The 30,000-sq.-ft. plant replaces a 17,000-sq.-ft. site in nearby Spring, Texas, that CAM had outgrown. The new factory is custom-made to fit the company's needs, said Gordon Hammett, a part owner and vice president of CAM. The firm has seen an increase in business of late and the new facility gives the firm additional space to add capacity should the need arise in the future, he said. The company primarily produces urethane parts for the oil field and pipeline industries.
