GREENVILLE, S.C. (Aug. 7)—Michelin North America Inc. has named Jean-Michele Guillon chief operating officer of Michelin Americas Small Tires (MAST), replacing Pete Selleck, who has moved to France to assume the same responsibilities in Europe as he held for MAST. Guillon, formerly chief operating officer of Michelin Automotive Industries Division in Detroit, replaced Selleck June 30. Win Wall has assumed Guillon's former responsibilities. A Michelin spokeswoman said the changes do not reflect a change in corporate direction or strategy. "The executive management looks at things and says we need to put some strengths in different places and possibly give people a chance to grow in different areas," she said. Selleck had served as MAST chief operating officer since 1996.
